2009 Summary of Posts
Posted January 3rd, 2010 in Miscellaneous Postings
This post is part of several posts at the start of 2010 to look at what I posted and achieved in the last 12 months and looking ahead at some aims for the next 12 months. This post looks at a summary of what I posted in 2009 - the number of posts made and a summary by topic.
Summary of posts
I posted 415 new posts in 2009 (compared with 351 in 2008).
I posted 389 new posts in 2009, not including the Monthly Roundups (compared with 288 in 2008) although this does include the posts in the miscellaneous category which had various other blog notices and information, and offers from various other websites.
I posted new posts on 316 days of the year, so there were 49 days with no post. In 2008 I posted new posts on 323 days of the year, so there were 43 days with no post in that year so this past year there were a few more days with no post.
Summary of posts by section
The following lists the sections of this website with a count of posts in each section in 2009 vs 2008. My intention in 2009 was to focus more on HTML/CSS, Javascript, MySQL and PHP and this is reflected by the higher number of posts in those areas compared with the previous year and also with other posts in the last year.
