Minerva Mail is a web based email marketing broadcasting solution developed to offer customised email marketing solutions to businesses. You can find out more information about the benefits of this software by visiting the Minerva Mail website.
Minerva Mail was created by Webenz when they saw the need in the marketplace for a cost effective and easy to use email marketing tool. It allows users to easily modify their database structure, import and export subscribers, create campaigns and email marketing pieces, schedule the emails for later deployment and report on links clicked in the emails.
The MinervaMail concept was created by Chris Hope, Jacqui Jones and Esther McIntyre; it was programmed using PHP and MySQL on the server-side and utilises some DHTML and Javascript in the client end to ensure ease of use and an easy to use GUI for editing HTML emails. The system was initially designed and programmed by me, Chris Hope, but later Harrison Fan continued to do ongoing development work on the product. Minerva Mail was later purchased by BKA and I continue to manage their Linux server.
