Merry Christmas 2007

I would like to wish all my readers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (or a Happy Holidays if you don't celebrate Christmas). As this posting goes live I will be enjoying a beautiful Christmas lunch with my family on what is hopefully a nice sunny Christmas day.

I wrote this post ahead of time (on Christmas Eve) and set my blogging software to not publish it until 2pm on Christmas Day. I have developed my own blogging software, but most common blogging software should have either built in, or as a 3rd party add-on module, the ability to write future posts that do not show up until the "publish date" has passed. I highly recommend anyone who blogs to utilise this feature in their blogging software and try to get at least two to three days ahead of themselves. It certainly makes life and blogging a lot easier!
