Link to a specific status update in Facebook

A couple of days ago I posted how to link to a specific tweet on Twitter and in this post show how to do the same with Facebook. As with the Twitter post, you probably already know how to do this but just in case you don't... it's not obviously clear how to.

Link to a specific status update

The screenshot below has a red box around the date and time the message was posted which appears below the status message. It's not obvious it's a link, but click it and it will have a page just with that status update and any associated comments below it.

Now you can copy the URL from your browser (or right-click the link and copy the URL) and use it if you need to link to it from elsewhere.
