I do a lot of running and to date have run 12 half marathons and 2 marathons. Although this is off-topic for this blog I wanted somewhere to post about these races and don't really want to start a separate running blog at this time. The picture to the right is of me finishing my first marathon, the Auckland Marathon in 2007.
My best half marathon time is 1:36:31 on May 25th 2008 and best marathon time 3:48:17 on October 28th 2007

Sri Chinmoy Auckland Domain Half Marathon 2008/2

Sri Chinmoy Auckland Domain Half Marathon 2008/1

I ran the Sri Chinomy Half Marathon in the Auckland Domain this morning, knocking almost two full minutes off my previous personal best time with the time of 1:36:31. My previous personal best was 1:38:20, set exactly two years ago at my first Sri Chinmoy Half Marathon. This post looks at the event and my preparation so I have a record for future reference.

I am a half-marathon and marathon runner, and today added an off-topic section to my blog to cover the running events I run; although it has nothing to do with LAMP programming etc it's something important to me and I want somewhere to post it but don't want to start a specific running blog at the present time.
