I am about to shut down my Electric Bookmarks website and am in the process of moving the useful posts from it into this blog. I had a section on it for free fonts and free font websites so have consolidate those into a single post here. This post will be periodically updated as I find other useful font websites and font blog posts.

Font Websites

Some of the websites listed below have free fonts, shareware fonts and paid-for fonts. In most cases they should state whether the font is free and/or the conditions of use.

The remaining websites below are one-off posts on various blogs and websites which contain lists of fonts. In each case there's a screenshot of the fonts and links through to the website where you can download it. The blog posts may or may not contain information about whether they are free or not. Even if they do, it is always wise to check the terms of use on the originating website before using it in your project.
