I am about to shut down my Electric Bookmarks website and am in the process of moving the useful posts from it into this blog. I had a section on it for free icons and free icon websites so have consolidate those into a single post here. This post will be periodically updated as I find other useful icon websites and icon blog posts.

A note about "Free Icons"

Note that as for anything "free" that you find on the Internet you should always check the originating website's terms of use to ensure you can legally use these free icons in your project. Some may be free for any purpose; others may be free for personal use but not commercial use.
