VMWare Ctrl-Z issue suspending virtual machines resolved

Some time back I had a rant about Ctrl+Z suspending VMWare Virtual Machines when I somehow managed to trigger the shortcut key which pulls focus out of the virtual machine while I'm typing. The other day I had an email telling me how to fix the problem and have written about it here.
The simple solution in VMWare Server v1 Console and VMWare Workstation is to select "Edit" from the main menu and then "Preferences". Select the "Input" tab and then check the "Grab keyboard and mouse input on keypress" option. Then save your changes. You may need to restart the console for the changes to take effect (I only write this because it didn't seem to work for me at first but after restarting it it did).
