Mr SEO posted a list of directories on which you can post your website for free, and that do not require a reciprocal link back to them. The list includes Google's PR for each site. DirectoryTotal.com posted 5 directories you can post to for free, with a brief description of each.
Other
The Register reported that Trolltech has updated its popular Qt framework by integrating the WebKit browser engine.
Suketu Vyas posted 50+ open source/free alternatives to Adobe Acrobat, breaking the list into downloadable PDF creators, online and desktop PDF editors, PDF viewers, compatability, command line manipulation and editing, PDF creation libraries, and other tools.
