Codeigniter 1.6.2 was released. This blog and a few of my sites currently use CodeIgniter but I'm moving on to moving the Zend Framework now.

jQuery
Nathan at onwired.com wrote a useful post about jQuery titled "Using jQuery to Produce Rich User Interfaces" which is a good introduction to moving stuff around with jQuery.

Opera Web Browser
Opera released version 4.1 of their Opera Mini web browser for mobile phones. Read an overview at Ars Technica and offical press release on the Opera Website.
Search Engines
Google's Official Blog posted information about how auctions set ad prices, and talks about their "Ad Quality Score" system.
SQL
mabaloo.com looked at SQL Injection, explaining what it is by using some examples of how it works.
Webhosting
J T Pratt posted about what shared web hosts won't tell you, looking at things like email accounts are limited, logging is turned off by default and it's nearly impossible to reach the bandwidth limits your account supposedly has.
