My workspace (June 13th 2010)

Now that I've moved to using a Mac Mini my workspace layout has changed again so I thought I'd write a quick post showing how it looks now. I moved from 3 monitors before on my Windows box to 2 with the Mini because it only supports 2.

My workspace

The first photo below shows my desk with two monitors (1600x1200 on the left and 1920x1200 on the right) with the little Mac Mini box underneath.

The second photo shows a wider view of my office with the 3rd monitor (also 1600x1200) off to the right plugged into the (now redundant) Windows 7 box, which you can see alongside the desk. I have some other uses for that machine, replacing my existing backup box.

And for once I've managed to keep the cables nice and tidy. Look under the desk and you see I've tied all the power cables together. It's a shame about the clutter of monitor cables etc behind the main monitor though...
